Earlier today, Samsung took the wraps off the latest entry to its millenial-focused Galaxy M series. The Samsung Galaxy M40 is the international version of the Galaxy A60, which was announced in April.

The Galaxy M40 features a 6.3-inch Infinity-O punch hole display with Full HD+ (2,340 x 1,080) resolution. The hole makes room for a 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture. The rear fingerprint sensor is joined by a triple-camera system, which consists of a 32MP primary sensor, a 5MP portrait sensor, and an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor.

The phone omits a headphone jack, though Samsung includes a free pair of USB-C earbuds. It also omits an earpiece, with Samsung instead using what it calls Screen Sound Technology to turn the screen into a speaker.

Elsewhere, the Galaxy M40 features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable storage, and a 3,500mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. The phone runs Samsung’s One UI software over Android 9 Pie.

India residents will be able to pick up the Galaxy M40 in Midnight Blue or Seawater Blue. The phone will launch June 18 on Amazon, Flipkart, and Pricebaba, with prices starting at 19,990 rupees (~$288). We will provide purchase links once the phone launches.
